Protol Developments Limited was started in1994 and is a privately owned company which can boast an impressive customer list which spans from large Plc manufacturing companies to small trading houses.

The Company philosophy is to provide the broadest range possible of specialist chemical services to the market with complete confidentiality. Protol is committed one hundred percent to contract manufacture and does not make products of its own or trade materials directly or indirectly into any market. In this way it avoids any competitive conflict with its customers and potential customers. Protol is unusual in that it provides capacity for contract processing of both powders and liquids which many contractors do not. As a result it can offer "one stop" facilities and avoid the need for multi-contractor use.

Protol's facilities are located in the north west of England on Merseyside close to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the motorway network.
